Back in the 1980s, Disneyland (Anaheim, California), had this fantastic ride: Inner Space. You were shrunk down to the size of an atom and then you have a marvelous ride through inner space (the human body). I remember being completely and utterly enraptured.
Hence, my life as a scientist.
Now, X years later (do not solve for X), I was inspired to create an artwork about dark matter. Dark matter is believed to comprise 95% of the universe. Matter is what you can touch and interact with- from the chair you're sitting in to the heat from your coffee cup. All matter.
